Norwich vs Tottenham Predictions and Betting Tips

Norwich are currently languishing down in 16th place, with just one win in their last 13 games in all competition and just one point above the drop zone. Chris Hughton’s job is on the line more than ever, and another poor home performance at the weekend could spell the end for the Canaries boss.

Tim Sherwood on the other hand is finding things a darn site easier. His Spurs side are sat pretty in fifth at the moment, just three points behind fourth palace Liverpool. The Merseysider’s play before Spurs on Sunday, so a win against struggling Norwich is important for Spurs if they are to stay in the hunt for the top four.

Emmanuel Adebayor has found a return to form and seems to be scoring for fun, and now has eight goals in his 11 league appearances this season. If they are to have any chance at the weekend, they are going to have to start firing. In fact, the Canaries have only scored 19 goals all season. Only Crystal Palace have scored fewer. Their defence record is nothing to write home about either, shipping 39 goals in the Premier League already.

Spurs have had a similar problem for most of the season, and are the lowest scorers in the top eight, finding the net just 36 times. In contrast, the two sides above them, Liverpool and Manchester City, scored and amazing 66 and 68 goals respectively. They also have the joint leakiest defence in the top eight, conceding 32 goals so far.  They do seem to perform well against the lesser sides, but struggle against the sides above them. Hopefully a trip to lowly Norwich can yield three points for Sherwood, and give us some winning football tips for the match.

With the Canaries goal scoring troubles, Spurs to win to nil is priced at 11/4 with Coral and looks a solid option for another football betting tip. Tottenham haven’t exactly been prolific either this season, so under 2.5 goals at 5/6 with Paddy Power looks a safe bet.
