They capitulated to throw away a 2-0 lead against Sunderland on Saturday and with no manager and the fans and owner at each other’s necks, Arsenal should take full advantage to build on consecutive away defeats.

Chelsea to beat Southampton Evens:

We stay with the Premier League’s top sides and Chelsea. Mourinho’s men have picked up ten points from a possible twelve over Christmas and won their last two matches. They take on a Southampton side whose fine start has fallen away and have now won just one of their last eight matches. They are without a win in three at St Mary’s and with Hazard and co seemingly finally hitting form, it could be another home defeat for Southampton.

MK Dons to beat Colchester 4/6:

Dons have had a decent December with three wins in four and will be hoping to carry their form in to the New Year. Colchester’s win last time out on the road against Oldham was their first in ten away from home and they have lost three of their last five matches. Dons are generally good value at home and should pick up a win here.

Swindon to beat Crawley 5/6:

Next up from League One a Swindon side who are just outside the Play-Offs at present. Swindon have been very impressive at home this season with eight wins in eleven matches and seven in their last nine. They take on a Crawley side with just one win in seven away from home and will want to close the gap on the play-offs and should do just that.

Burton to beat Mansfield 5/4:

Fourth bottom take on fourth top in our League One selection as Burton travel to Mansfield. Burton are unbeaten in their last seven matches and have won four of their last six away from home. They’ve won their last two matches and will want to solidify their play-off position. Mansfield’s win on Sunday was their first since September an incredible fourteen match winless run. They are without a win in six at home, losing five and should have their misery compounded by Burton.
