Juventus v Cagliari – Juventus to win BTTS 12/5

Second up and we make our way to Turin and the newly crowned champions of Serie A. For a fourth consecutive year Juventus have finished top of the pile and they have done so with four matches to spare. The Old Lady have a fantastic home record and have only lost once in 55 matches, so again, this looks like another banker. Lowly Cagliari are the visitors this weekend having given themselves a lifeline of a avoiding relegation after winning two of their last three matches. Under normal circumstances, I wouldn't consider this match as a BTTS win, but having already won the league and with a huge Champions League tie looming the following week, the hosts may well rest a few players. Considering Cagliari are fighting for their lives and have scored seven goals in their last three games, they could well have a chance of making it onto the score sheet.

 


Caen v Lyon – Lyon to win BTTS 12/5

Finally, we finish our weekend football tip in Ligue 1 with high-flying Lyon and their clash at Caen. The away side are currently in a two-way battle at the top of the table with PSG and currently sit three points behind their rivals heading into the last three games of the season. Lyon are in decent form winning four of their last five matches, scoring an impressive 13 times in the process. Their opponents Caen have some breathing space in 14th place but could well fall into the relegation zone should results not go their way. Although this could well be the 'turkey' on the coupon, I would expect Lyon to continue their winning ways, leaving the question as to whether we will see a BTTS outcome. Judging by the fact both teams sit in the top six for BTTS matches this season, there should be a decent chance of that outcome.
