So there we have it – Jose Mourinho and Chelsea Football Club have finally parted ways in what has so far proven a campaign to forget for the Stamford Bridge faithful. After enduring nine frustrating losses in sixteen league matches this season, something seemingly had to change sooner or later…
Instead of building a supposed legacy with the Blues that was meant to one day rival the untouchable achievements of Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford, the enigmatic Portuguese boss now finds himself out of the job with the majority of British media attention still well and truly on his back.
So then, whilst Roman Abramovich and co. start looking for a new manager to rescue the club’s ever sinking season, Chelsea fans have certainly begun to have their say on the matter.
As the Blues have admittedly failed to set the English top-flight alight during the 2015/16 campaign, some football fans are in agreement over the recent decision to sack Jose Mourinho from his managerial duties down at Stamford Bridge…
Mourinho clearly lost the dressing room. Once you start blaming players publicly you're in serious trouble. Had to go IMO.

Surprised Mourinho got the sack, but it was probably the right call. Lost the dressing room, turned on players, lost the plot a bit really.

However, it seems the majority of Chelsea fans will miss Mourinho from the Blues dug-out in future seasons…
Thanks #Mourinho, best manager in the world. I'm still devastated by the news. Can't wait to sing your name on Stamford Bridge on the 26th

We are having a terrible year and yet I'm sad to see Mourinho go. He has done right by our team and is Blue to the core. Thanks, Great One.

But even if most Chelsea fans still seemingly have love for Mourinho…
Thank you for everything mr. Mourinho. You'll never notice how much we love you pic.twitter.com/uB0QlA9sKn

…there are of course those among the English footballing community who had in-fact had enough of the now ex-Chelsea manager…
I used to be an admirer of Mourinho, but after his sexist & disgraceful behaviour towards Caneiro, I'm glad it's gone wrong for him.

So then, regardless of whether or not Jose Mourinho actually deserved to stay at Chelsea, the Stamford Bridge hierarchy must now select a new main man at the helm to triumphantly lead the club in upcoming campaigns…
Imagine Guardiola at City, Mourinho at United and Simeone at Chelsea…

The only Chelsea manager I would want is Ancelotti.

When all is said and done, Mourinho most definitely brought a great deal to the Premier League, but as all tired routines ultimately run dry in the end, maybe his time among the English top-flight had pretty much reached its natural conclusion in the cold light of day.
So long Jose, …for now at least!
