Italy Under 21’s and Netherlands Under 21’s play for a place in the final on Saturday and the bookies are struggling to split the two sides.

It is slightly surprising that most bookies have Italy at slight favourites for this semi-final, there are many reasons to put a line through the Netherlands clash with Spain and despite their lack of strong defensive quality, as illustrated in the second half against Germany, the Netherlands are a formidable attacking threat and can score goals from anywhere on the pitch. They have failed to keep a clean sheet so far and will probably fail again, but the value is with a Dutch win in the betting.

Italy are not without a realistic chance and there looks set to be goals in this one. The Dutch defend by attacking and Italy are not shy in going forward with some patient build up through the central midfielders complimented by the pace of their flanks.
