How do Man United fans really rate Louis van Gaal?

Although the life of a highly coveted Premier League manager certainly can’t go down as one of the easiest occupations going out there on the job front, Louis van Gaal has nonetheless turned out to be a real disappointment since first being appointed at Old Trafford.

His style of play has been dreadful at times for Manchester United, the Red Devils have looked void of goal-scoring form on almost every given occasion this season – and as the long-standing Premier League club have spent over £250 million throughout the Dutchman’s spell among the English top-flight – the Old Trafford faithful are quite understandably growing tired of LVG’s exploits by now.

So then, in light of Manchester United’s surprise loss to AFC Bournemouth this weekend – how do Premier League fans really rate Louis van Gaal?

Have Red Devils supporters simply had enough of their main man in the dug-out, or is the former Ajax, Barcelona and Bayern Munich head-coach ultimately safe within his current position?

Well, if this recent talkSport poll is to have any say in the matter, the immediate future doesn’t look too promising for the increasingly under-pressure tactician…

This Manchester United fan clearly doesn’t want his side to replicate Arsenal’s form among the English top-flight…

…with some Red Devils supporters clearly hoping a new managerial candidate steps in at Old Trafford sooner rather than later…

If twitter heat were to have any real traction in the modern era however, it seems as if Louis van Gaal would already be gone…

…and Manchester United fans seemingly aren’t alone in their criticism for LVG either…

So then, whilst a few generous Old Trafford goers still hold a little faith in their team’s current manager..

…Louis van Gaal is ultimately running out of support at the moment – especially for failing to make the group stages of the Champions League with Manchester United mid-week.

In the end, it seems as if the enigmatic Dutchman won't even come close to building the kind of legacy Sir Alex Ferguson famously achieved at the club many moons ago.

At least LVG still knows the significance of that all-important ‘winning goal’ though…
