English football supporters tend to prove a rather argumentative bunch even at the best of times. For one reason or another, most Premier League fans often find themselves unable to unite over even the most trivial of matters with every passing season.
Yet as the overall standard of Premier League officiating has clearly been below par throughout the current domestic campaign – perhaps the current crop of blundering top-flight referees have given football fans in this country something they can finally agree upon.
Most Premier League onlookers remain truly fed up with the current state of English refereeing…

…with some fans seemingly left far more aggrieved than others…
Premier league refs are unarguably the worst referees in world football and they should all be sacked with immediate effect

Whilst Premier League officials aren’t the only ones currently failing to satisfy…

…perhaps English referees really are beginning to ruin the ‘Beautiful Game’ as we know it…

Some fans have had it worse than others in recent weeks…
That West Ham sending off has to be one of the worst decisions I've ever seen! Refs are getting worse @premierleague

…but with the advent of video technology currently waiting patiently on the horizon…
Premier League referees are so incompetent at this point they NEED decisions to be taken out of their hands by video technology.

…surely it’s only a matter of time before the F.A. finally up their game…
State of Premier League officials. I literally tweet this every week. Sooner robot refs walk the earth, the better.

Maybe we’d all feel a little better about the situation if refs were forced to explain their key decisions once in a while…
Its about time these clowns pretending to be @premierleague Refs were put on the spot after games to explain their game changing decisions
