Opponents Norwich picked up a couple of wins over the Christmas period but have since gone on to lose their last three games in a row, conceding eleven goals in the process. The most recent defeat to Liverpool will have been particularly alarming as it saw The Canaries surrender a 3-1 lead with half an hour to play. Based on recent form, I cannot see anything other than an away win. Considering both sides are tied for fourth in the BTTS table, though, I expect Spurs to win via this outcome.

Wolves v Bolton Tip

The second tick on the football coupon comes from The Championship as Wolves take on bottom of the table Bolton at Molineux. The hosts are in a decent run of form at present and have won four of their last six matches in the league. Kenny Jacket's side have been busy in the transfer market this window, and will be hoping to make a late push for the playoff places as they enter a run of five fixtures against teams from the bottom half of the table. For visitors Bolton, life in The Championship is already hanging by the thinnest of threads and the club's prospects look bleak both on and off the field. Although Wanderers have picked up a couple of wins in their last six, both of these came on home soil and their away record does not make for pretty reading. Neil Lennon's men have only managed to take three points from 14 games on the road this season, and needless to say, this is the worst record in the division. Nevertheless, Wanderers have managed to score five times in their last three games which certainly suggests they might be able to at least find a way onto the scoresheet.

Opponents Preston do threaten to string a bit of form together from time to time but inconsistency always seems to catch up with them. However, despite their poor goalscoring record, five of their last six matches have finished as a BTTS result and I fancy them to bury at least one chance against a nervous Derby defence. Were this fixture a few weeks ago, the odds would be far, far shorter so I certainly think it's worth taking a punt. Derby won the corresponding fixture earlier in the season 2-1, and I can see a similar result this time round.
