Both teams to score and win betting tips for this weekend’s Saturday afternoon coupon including a Premier League tip and two Football League selections.
This Saturday’s score and win treble gets underway at 3pm and features three games from the English leagues. The straight accumulator comes in at a tasty price of 41/1 with William Hill. However, those looking to hedge their bets a little can expect odds of 10/1 for the double with the shortest odds in a Trixie.

Both Teams to Score and Win Tips
Newcastle v Huddersfield – Newcastle to win BTTS
We’re kicking things off this weekend in The Championship as Newcastle United play their first game of the season at St James’ Park following their drop from the Premier League last year. I’m going to stick my neck out and say The Magpies would not have been relegated had Rafa Benitez signed sooner, and based on their strength and depth of their current squad, I fully expect them to bounce straight back up at the first time of asking. Nevertheless, they have not started encouragingly following an opening weekend defeat to Fulham last time out and this will certainly act as a warning that this season is likely to be far from easy. Opponents Huddersfield look a decent side this year, and dare I say it, might be a decent outside bet to make the playoffs. The Terriers have started the campaign well with a 2-1 victory over Brentford and actually had the third highest average in the Championship last year for total match goals, as well as an encouraging BTTS record well over 50%. With these facts in mind, I can see Newcastle edging this one with both teams finding the net.

Luton v Yeovil – Luton to win BTTS
Our second choice on the BTTS win coupon this Saturday comes from League Two as Luton Town take on Yeovil at Kenilworth Road. The hosts got off to a flyer last weekend following the 3-0 demolition of another promotion favourite Plymouth at Home Park, and will also head into this clash buoyed from a 3-1 victory over Aston Villa in the EFL Cup in midweek. Although The Hatters rode their luck on several occasions, they were good value for the latter result based on an excellent second half performance and look to have plenty of goals in them this season. Opponents Yeovil also started with a win last weekend, albeit with a 2-0 home victory over a poor Notts County side. Nevertheless, with the exception of a decent run in the two months after Christmas in the 2015/16 season, last year was essentially a write-off and hardly an encouraging marker for campaign ahead. However, both games between the two sides last year produced BTTS results and I predict a BTTS win for Luton being a decent shout this time round.
Manchester City v Sunderland – Manchester City to win BTTS
The anchor leg this weekend comes from the Premier League and the early evening kick off between Manchester City and Sunderland. The hosts head into the new season with the renowned Pep Guardiola at the helm and the former Barcelona and Bayern man has wasted little time in getting his chequebook out already. City now plundered over £150 million on seven new players ahead of the new campaign, which needless to say, is an absolutely obscene amount of money even by today’s standards. Opponents Sunderland have also got a new man in charge this year and David Moyes will be hoping it’s third time lucky following his fine spell as Everton boss a few seasons ago. In fairness, Moyes wasn’t given a particularly fair crack of the whip at Manchester United and Real Sociedad, so it would be nice to see the Scot succeed this time around. Nevertheless, I don’t give The Black Cats a prayer in this one and the only question remains will be whether they can find a way onto the scoresheet. The best strike-rate for BTTS results away from home last season (68%) suggests they just might and complete our weekend football tip on the BTTS win market.
