Atletico Madrid to beat Betis:

Atletico are still bravely batting for La Liga and are sandwiched between the two Spanish giants heading into Sundays game. They will see this match as a huge opportunity to make ground as Real Madrid face Barcelona later that evening. Betis have struggled all season and still sit at the bottom of La Liga with games running out. They have the joint worst home points in the league and will face Atletico on the back of a heartbreaking and energy sapping Europa league second leg against Sevilla, which ended in extra time and a penalty shootout loss. Atletico have an impressive away record, winning 9 /13 this season and have huge motivation to make it 10.

Real Madrid to beat Barcelona:

A game every football fan looks forward to with anticipation takes place on Sunday evening and I am backing Real to take a huge step towards the La Liga title. They are currently 4 points ahead of their rivals and they have a formidable record at the Bernabeu this season, winning 12/13, scoring 42 goals in the process. The forward line of Ronaldo, Benzema and Bale has been prolific and should cause a shaky Barcelona defence big problems, with Ronaldo in particular having an excellent record in the game. Barcelona haven't quite looked the same force  for me this season under Tito Martino, maybe it is the change in manager or that some of their greats such as Xavi and Iniesta are another year older. They have put in 2 very performances on the road lately, losing 3-1 at Sociedad and 1-0 at Valladolid. Real look a tasty price considering this reasoning.
