Chelsea to beat Liverpool – 11/10

Having wrapped up the Premier League title last weekend, Chelsea can enjoy the rest of the season knowing the pressure has been lifted. But Jose Mourinho will not be taking it easy in his final three games, and a visit of Liverpool will be treated like any other game that they will be desperate to win. The Blues have a superb home record this season, something they will not want to blemish now, and with 14 wins and three draws from 17 so far; they look a great bet for another three points. Chelsea’s last defeat came way back in Janaury, and without a loss in their last 15 games, this weekend posses a huge test for Liverpool.

The Reds know anything other than a win here could signal the end of their Champions League hopes, but given their current form this looks unlikely. Liverpool are without a win away from home since March, having lost two and drawn one of their last three. Having lost out to Hull, they only narrowly overcame QPR last weekend, hardly the form that will give them confidence ahead of a trip to Stamford Bridge. The home side will be full of confidence following their recent title success, and would like nothing more than to get a win over their rivals; therefore Chelsea are the selection.

Atletico Madrid to beat Levante – 8/15

Last season’s champions Atletico Madrid will look to finish the season strongly in order to cement third place and ensure automatic qualification to the Champions League group stages, and should be able to do so with a win at Levante. The visitors arrive in great form; undefeated in 10 games and with just one loss in their last 15. Their away form has also been strong, and they can make it three wins on the bounce against a side still battling relegation.

The home side have a five point gap over the bottom three with three games remaining, and should require just one more win to guarantee their safety. Last week’s defeat came after two successive victories, but the manner of the 3-0 loss to Real Sociedad suggests it will be tough to pick up anything this weekend, and Madrid will certainly fancy their chances.

Napoli to beat Parma – 4/11

Napoli will know that any dropped points in their final games may well end their hopes of a top three finish and the Champions League qualification that comes with it. Thankfully for Rafa Benitez’s side, a trip to Parma offers a great chance to keep the pressure on Lazio in third, and with four wins from their last five, they should have more than enough to run out comfortable winners.

Their away form has been far from impressive recently with four defeats in their last five, but this should improve when up against the league’s bottom side on Sunday. The home side have already been relegated having lost 23 of their 34 games this season, and off the back of two 4-0 defeats they will be grateful when the season ends. Given what’s at stake for the visitors, A Napoli victory has to be the play here.

St Etienne to beat Nice – 4/7

St Etienne will be looking to keep their faint hopes of Champions League qualification alive after a surprise defeat to Bastia last weekend ended their impressive unbeaten run. Currently sat fifth place in the table, they look on course to secure a Europa League spot at the very least, but know they have to win if they are to have any hope of catching Monaco in the final three games.

Last week’s defeat is their only one in the last 10 games, and having won the last four at home they look good value for the three points against a Nice side still not mathematically safe. The visitors find themselves in thirteenth position in Ligue 1, five points above the bottom three and with just two wins from their last 10 matches. Last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Caen saw them avoid a third straight defeat, but they will need to improve if they are to come away with any points on Sunday, and a home win looks likely.
