Torino to beat Chievo 2pm

A potentially risky choice, but one I feel is good value nonetheless. Those that have followed this column most of the season know I am quite the fan of backing Torino. This is principally due to their prolific strikeforce of Immobile(Serie A top goalscorer) and Cerci, I always feel sides have a chance when they have 2 good forwards to rely on, as Liverpool have found out this season. They face a really poor Chievo side, who, whilst are fighting to protect their Serie A status have a real lack of quality, especially in attack. They have lost 10/14 and already been defeated 10 times this season on their own turf and 3 of their last 4. Torino won the reverse fixture 4-1 but are likely to face more stubborn resistance this time as I suspect Chievo will be look to soak up pressure. Torino are very backable at the price.

Chelsea to beat Norwich (to nil) 4pm

It looks a difficult coupon this week, as it often can be set this stage of the season. In this match there is no value in backing a straight Chelsea win so I'm going for the win to nil angle against goal-shy Norwich. Quite simply Chelsea have the best defensive record in the Premier League & Norwich have scored the fewest goals. Chelsea will want to bounce back after losing to Atletico Madrid midweek and will be in no mood to show mercy to a struggling team come Sunday. Chelsea have kept clean sheets in 5/6 at home whilst Norwich have only scored In one of their last 5 games.

Sevilla to beat Villareal 6pm

Sevilla will be on a huge high after reaching the Europa league final courtesy of a 94th minute goal on Thursday night. They are also riding high in La Liga, currently in 5th place and have won 5 in a row at home, scoring 15 goals in the process. They face a Villareal team who seem to be running out of steam, further highlighted by a calamitously giving away a 2 goal lead againstBarcelona last weekend by scoring 2 own goals. They have lost 6/8 away and may be demotivated as their push for a Europa League place looks all but over. Sevilla have the firepower to collect another 3 points at home.
