Sevilla to beat Lyon 

Although Sevilla suffered a first La Liga defeat of the season at the weekend when beaten 3-1 at improving Athletic Bilbao, they have won all domestic league games at their home venue this term and claimed a 0-0 draw at Juventus in their opening Group H match. Visitors Lyon have already lost three Ligue 1 games this season and suffered a disappointing 1-0 loss at struggling Lorient on Saturday. The French outfit are viewed as more of a home team and beat Dinamo Zagreb 3-0 in their opening group match, but Europa League champions Sevilla could claim all three points on Tuesday.   

 

Brighton to beat Ipswich

Ipswich are currently experiencing a series of injuries and are scoring few goals with no more than one scored in any game since beating Barnsley 4-2 on the opening day. The Tractor Boys rarely threatened the Leeds defence in a 1-0 defeat on Saturday and they will host a Brighton team which recovered from two successive 2-0 defeats to win their latest three Championship games without conceding a goal. Another win for Brighton via a clean sheet is predicted.

Brentford to draw with Reading

Brentford suffered a third away defeat in league action on Saturday when beaten 3-1 at Wolves but they are becoming a formidable team at Griffin Park where they are unbeaten in Championship football since late March. Scott Hogan netted a hat-trick in their latest home victory when beating Preston 5-0 but the Bees now face a Reading team which is unbeaten in eight competitive matches since losing 4-1 at Newcastle. The Royals did struggle to beat 10-man Huddersfield 1-0 at the weekend but they could earn a first away draw this season at Brentford.   

 

Bradford to beat Fleetwood  

Bradford remain the only unbeaten team in League One but they have drawn their latest five matches and have netted no more than one goal in each of those drawn games. They now host a Fleetwood team which has suffered a recent slump in form after a promising start to the season and a 4-1 weekend home defeat by MK Dons was a second successive defeat against teams below them in the league table. Bradford could claim a second league victory of the season at Valley Parade.  

 

Grimsby to beat Newport

Improving Grimsby have lost just once in five recent league matches and claimed a 1-0 win at Mansfield on Saturday via a converted penalty with Omar Bogle claiming his eighth league goal of the campaign. Opponents Newport have won just one League Two game all season when claiming a 1-0 victory at Leyton Orient during early August but they allowed Cambridge to earn their first league win of the season on Saturday when losing 2-1 at Rodney Parade. The Mariners appear set for a third home win this term.
