Wednesday sees Portuguese giants Benfica take on current european champions Chelsea in the Europa league final in Amsterdam.

It looks like Benfica have been pipped to the league title in Portugla after losing in the last minute to Porto on Saturday but they have some quality players, the likes of Lima & Cardozo, they have scored 33 goals between them this season. However on paper you would have to think that Chelsea should be too strong for them.

Benfica's form of late has been poor by their standards, only 3 wins out of the last 8 in all competitions, they've lost 2 and drawn the other 3. Previous to this latest run though they had won 8 games in a row! scoring 25 goals and conceding only 4!

Chelsea are unbeaten in their last 8, winning 6 & drawing 2, Scoring 17 & conceding 7. They just seem to keep grinding out results at the moment, and having guaranteed their champions league spot for next season by beating Aston Villa on Saturday they can go all out to win this match now not good news for Benfica.

Now both teams to score has come in on 6 out of Chelsea's 8 games so far in this seasons competition. Benfica have seen both teams score in 5 out of their 8 games. Surely this is a banker for Wednesday night and at 4/5 with bet 365 represents good value too.

Benfica wouldn't have faced opposition of this quality too often this season and although they are capable of causing an upset I think chelsea will be to strong on the night. Chelsea are currently 11/5 to win in 90 minutes also with bet 365 which again is very good value.

These two teams are both very good going forward but are not so strong at the back, again with bet365 the overs markets look generous with over 2.5 goals currently evens and over 3.5 goals a massive 15/4, it's tempting but I'm going to play it safe and back over 2.5 goals on this occasion
