Does relegation beckon for Crystal Palace this season?

It’s certainly fair to say that Crystal Palace have begun the 2016/17 domestic campaign in less than convincing style thus far. Quite frankly, the Eagles have struggled to assert themselves for the most part this term, with the ever dreaded threat of relegation still lingering quietly upon the horizon as the pressures begin to mount down at Selhurst Park.

 

Alan Pardew’s side failed to come away with anything last time out against Manchester City, yet whilst Crystal Palace weren’t exactly expected to run riot against Pep Guardiola’s expensively assembled unit, the Selhurst Park faithful could certainly do with something to lift their collective spirits right in the here and now.

 

 

Well, even if Pardew himself refuses to acknowledge the pressing nature of his team’s precarious situation at the moment…

 

Pardew says Palace are not in a relegation battle. I could say a lot about him, but I won't. Knowing that he's not at #NUFC is all I need.

Things just seem to be going from bad to worse for Palace at this particular stage in the season…
