Despite managing to stage a dramatic comeback last time out against Mauricio Pochettino’s title-contending Tottenham Hotspur outfit, Arsenal nonetheless remain five points off league leaders Leicester City at this particular stage in the proceedings, and could even risk dropping out the top-four completely by then end of the current season if they’re not careful.
Recent losses to both Manchester United and Swansea City have severely dented Wenger’s chances of bringing the Premier League title home to North London, and as the Gunners have lacked a certain cutting edge just when it has seemingly mattered most this season, it remains to be seen whether or not Arsenal fans really want their current boss to stay on at the Emirates beyond the 2015/16 campaign…
So then, do the Gunners simply need to freshen up their managerial set-up ahead of the new domestic season, or does Arsene Wenger ultimately deserve another year at the Emirates with everything fairly taken into account?
Well, even though the notorious French tactician could certainly muster up a whole manner of different excuses in light of what’s gone wrong down at the Emirates of late…
