Stoke Arnautovic

Crystal Palace vs Stoke Predictions, Betting Tips and Preview

Crystal Palace vs Stoke betting tips and predictions for the Premier League fixture at Selhurst Park on Sunday 18th September, Kick Off 2.15pm.

This match is already crucial for both teams and managers, probably more so for Mark Hughes’ side as they find themselves bottom of the table after the four Premier League matches they’ve played. Although Stoke haven’t had the rub of the green with some decisions this season, their fans will be concerned that at times they’ve been completely outplayed. They’ve already conceded 10 league goals and the 4-0 home defeat to Spurs was an embarrassing performance defensively. The deadline day loan signing of Wilfried Bony was a statement of intent from Stoke and I do expect them to change their fortunes around as with Shaqiri, Arnautovic and Bony as their attacking three, it won’t be long before they’re linking up well with each other and scoring goals.

Alan Pardew managed to breathe a sigh of relief last weekend as he saw his Palace side finally win a game. It’ll definitely ease the pressure on him and the players as they’ve been in woeful form since the turn of the year. They seem to miss Yannick Bolasie after selling him to Everton and are looking to Wilfried Zaha to live up to his potential and fill the void left by the departed winger. He did score and get an assist in the 2-1 away win at Middlesbrough which is a positive sign, as well as the recipient of his assist being Christian Benteke, as it was vital he settled quickly to try and help Palace steer away from what looks like a season for a relegation fight.

This is a game which could go either way, and it’ll just depend on the day who steps up and takes their chances. I’ve got a sneaking suspicion Stoke will be firing on all cylinders as Mark Hughes doesn’t suffer fools lightly. An early goal could see the Palace fans become restless, after they’ve only seen their side pick up a point from home ties with West Brom and Bournemouth this season.

Crystal Palace vs Stoke Predictions

My first Crystal Palace vs Stoke prediction is going to be Stoke to win. I can’t see how Crystal Palace are being given odds of around Evens given their form and confidence levels. Stoke are much the better value at 16/5 with Ladbrokes as I feel they’re a little bit of luck away from decimating a team to make up for their poor start.

Both Teams to Score Tips

My second Crystal Palace vs Stoke prediction is going to be both teams to score. I don’t think either defence is at the stage this season where they can expect to keep a clean sheet. Both of their attacks will fancy their chances against their opponents, and it looks on paper that their attacks are very capable of scoring at least a goal each. Bet365 are offering 19/20 for Both Teams to Score.

Anytime Goalscorer Tips

My final Premier League betting tip for Crystal Palace vs Stoke is going to be Wilfried Bony to score anytime. If he can replicate his Swansea form then Stoke have a proper striker in their team. With the wingers providing crosses for him I think it’ll be sooner rather than later before he starts bagging league goals again. are offering 11/4 for him to score anytime.
