However, top scorer Sergio Aguero endured another one of those days in front of goal. The Argentine international has now gone four league games without scoring and even fluffed a crucial penalty in the Champions League against Barcelona on top of that.

Based on the recent form of the two sides, this has every chance of being a potential banana skin for Manchester City. Finally for a hefty longshot, and considering Palace's excellent record in rescuing points from losing positions, it wouldn't be the worst idea in the world to consider the same outcome could happen against City.
