These two sides had contrasting fortunes in the last round of Premier League fixtures. Chelsea had a weekend to forget in losing to a late Fabian Delph strike away at Aston Villa and will be without the services of Brazilian midfielders Willian and Ramires for the visit of Arsenal after both were sent for an early bath at Villa Park, the latter for a shocking challenge which also resulted in boss Mourinho being set to the stands after his reaction to his sides undoing. So too has the vastly less experienced Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has reveled in a more central role and looks a class act.

It is never wise to bet against Chelsea, particularly at Stamford Bridge, but even with their growing injury list this Arsenal side seems to have more teeth and determination than any other since they last picked up some silverware.
