Despite beginning the 2015/16 campaign in rather impressive style to say the very least – with the likes of Yohan Cabaye, Wilfried Zaha and Yannick Bolasie each pulling the strings somewhat effortlessly for Alan Pardew’s determined outfit – Crystal Palace have subsequently failed to replicate their earlier form in recent weeks, and the Selhurst Park faithful have been left less than satisfied.
The Eagles have simply looked short of their best form since the turn of the calendar year, and although Palace supporters won’t be feeling too concerned with the once impending threat of relegation right in the here and now, the immediate future looks slightly unpredictable for Alan Pardew with all things fairly taken into account.
In light of such a notion down at Selhurst Park in 2015/16 then, just what has gone so badly wrong for the South London outfit in recent weeks, and will the Eagles eventually improve upon their fortunes between now and the end of the season?
Well, even though Crystal Palace haven’t proven the laughing stock of the Premier League by any stretch of the imagination this term, this weekend’s dramatic loss to West Bromwich Albion has hardly left the Eagles fans in positive spirits…
Another terrible first 45 minutes has cost us. Good to see some fight in the second half but hugely concerning form.
Down to 14th.

Either way, some football fans nonetheless remain less optimistic than others regarding Crystal Palace and the possible threat of relegation…
My £1 bet on palace to get relegated at 50/1 a few weeks ago looks like a good bit of business at the moment !

But does that mean Alan Pardew’s side are simply down and out this season? Of course not! Injuries have certainly damaged Palace’s chances of maintaining their strong form throughout the entirety of the 2015/16 campaign…
8 injuries for crystal palace at this stage of the season.. That's a lot
