Bournemouth v Real Madrid Preview, Predictions and Betting Tips

Where to start with previewing a fixture such as Bournemouth v Real Madrid! It is believed that Real Madrid will be bringing a full squad apart from the 3 players who featured in the Confederations Cup, Di Maria, Sergio Ramos & Casillas.

With Real Madrid 1/9 on to win there is no value at all in backing them to win. But, backing Real with a -2 handicap is 3/4 with Bwin, so this provides a more worth while return, whilst remaining a realistic bet. For the record Bournemouth are 13/1 for the win.

I am sure every Bournemouth player will be dying to perform at the best of their ability and for many this will be the game of their lives, and nobody will want to let anyone else down so they will put up a bit of a fight, but Real will obviously be way to strong for them, regardless of who they start on the day.

6000 tickets sold out within hours of them going on sale to Bournemouth fans this week, although there is capacity for another 3000 or so to be sold to take it to capacity on the day. I would think this would be a sell out event for this club and there would be somewhat of a party atmosphere in the ground come kick-off.

Betting wise over 4.5 goals is best priced at 18/19 with Bwin, so just over evens. I would think this has to come in, Real could and should hit this on their own considering they will do this to numerous La Liga teams throughout the season. There may be more markets available on the day so if there is an option for over 5.5 & 6.5 goals, it may be worth looking at these also.

I was also looking at both teams to score as a good bet as well, although the odds on this are surprisingly ungenerous, at 8/13 again with Bwin. Pretty short odds but again I think this should come in.

Real wont be taking this too seriously and I would think there would be a fairly jovial atmosphere between the fans and indeed the players. I think everyone there would love to see the cherries score a goal against the great Real Madrid.
