Our first fixture for Sunday’s BTTS accumulator tips takes us to sunny Spain and a clash between relegation-threatened Las Palmas and third placed Real Madrid. Most will see this fixture as an easy win for the Galacticos of Madrid, but when you consider that Las Palmas have hit a very timely run of form – winning their last three on the bounce, against Eibar, Getafe, and most recently against fourth placed Villarreal – their match up with a stumbling Real Madrid side is made a lot more interesting. Furthermore, even though Madrid are still challenging for the title in spirit, they are now 12 points off the pace of a virtually unbeatable Barcelona, and only realistically scrapping for a runners-up position with Atletico Madrid. Zidane’s side have played out 5 straight BTTS winners on the road, conceding goals to Valencia, Betis, Grenada, Malaga and Levante in consecutive away games. I have a sneaking suspicion that a resurgent Las Palmas side could well prove a tricky tie for a gung-ho Madrid side, and I’m confident that both sides will get on the score-sheet on Sunday.

Eighth placed Leverkusen face off with tenth placed Hamburg at lunchtime on Sunday, and judging by the form and statistics going into the match, both teams are highly likely to register goals in this mid-table Bundesliga clash. Bayer have played out three consecutive BTTS winners, with their most recent clash against Augsburg providing 6 goals in an epic 3-3 draw. Hamburg’s away form has seen them notch up five BTTS winners in their last six games on the road, including their most recent away fixture against Schalke which ended in a narrow 3-2 victory for the hosts. However, Martin Schmidt’s Mainz side were the team that ended Bayern Munich’s long unbeaten run – winning 2-1 at the Allianz Arena on the 2nd of March – and they will also provide an extremely tricky tie for a confident Dortmund side on Sunday. Dortmund have been pretty solid defensively lately, but Mainz have produced 4 BTTS winners in their last five Bundesliga fixtures, and I’m pretty confident that they’ll grab at least one against a Dortmund side who will be starting to feel the nerves of an epic title run in.

Carpi v Frosinone BTTS

We end Sunday’s BTTS accumulator tip with a fierce relegation battle from Italy between 19th placed Carpi and 18th placed Frosinone. Just four points separate the two sides and both teams will be scrapping for their lives to grab the points necessary to drag themselves out of the relegation zone. Carpi have played out six consecutive BTTS winners at home in Serie A, and when coupled with Frosinone’s away record of five BTTS winners in their last six on the road, I’m pretty confident that both teams are extremely likely to register in this Serie A six-pointer on Sunday.
