Both teams have scored in Alkmaar’s last five matches and ten of their fifteen matches this season. They have also failed to score in just two of their last ten matches and have scored in both of their Europa League games to date. With the underdog at home here who put two past Celtic not too long ago, there should be goals.

Slovan Liberec v Sevilla 17/20:

Both teams have scored in five of Slovan’s last seven. Both teams have scored in both of their group games to date and in three of their last five home games. Liberec have failed to score just twice in their last fifteen games and they have hit the net in every home game since July 2012. Both teams have scored in eight of Sevilla’s last nine matches. Sevilla have managed a goal in every game to date this year and both teams have scored in their last five away games. With all this in mind, this could be a great game with both sides on the  score sheet.

Freiburg v Estoril 8/11:

Off to Germany for this next installment where Freiburg have seen both teams score in nine of their last twelve matches. Both teams have scored in all of their home games this season and they concede plenty with a threat in attack to go with it. Estoril have seen both teams score in nine of their last ten matches and they have failed to score just once this season. In seven away matches they have scored in every match and both teams have scored in five of these. Two teams here who are equally leaky at the back so expect goals.

Wigan v Rubin Kazan 4/5:

Both teams have scored in five of Wigan’s six home games to date this season with the Latics scoring in them all.  Kazan have seen both teams score in five of their last seven games whole they have failed to score in just one of their last seven. Wigan will rest some players and against a good Russian side it should be a good contest.

Salzburg v Standard Liege 4/5:

Finally this Austria v Belgium clash. Both teams have scored in five of Salzburg’s last six. They have managed to score in every game this season but should struggle to keep a clean sheet against a higher level of opposition. Liege have seen both sides score in six of their last ten and have only failed to score once on the road this season. This should be an interesting tie and both sides will be disappointed if they don’t find the net.
