Crystal Palace vs Arsenal – YES

After looking so strong preseason Arsenal were a shambles last week, despite having 61% possession and 22 shots on goal. Their defensive frailties came back to haunt them and even Cech had a nightmare. I can’t see them drawing a second blank here though with the strength they possess in attack. Palace were tipped for big things under Pardew this season and 3-1 away win against Norwich last week won’t have done them any harm. Both sides will be up for this at Selhurst so I expect goals here.


Wolves vs Hull – YES

Both of these sides are expected to at the very least push for promotion this season and they both started with a win last weekend. Wolves won 2-1 away to Blackburn and Hull won 2-0 at home to Huddersfield. In the Capital One Cup midweek, Hull needed penalties to get past Accrington after a 2-2 draw and Wolves won 2-1 at home to Newport. Four games played and 12 goals between them so far this should end BTTS no problem.


Cambuur vs Feyenoord – YES

Of the 9 games played in the Dutch Eredivisie last week, 7 ended in both teams to score, which is heaven-like for the punters. Only thing is, for this stage of the season at least, it makes picking a game harder in a strange way. Cambuur picked up an impressive 2-2 draw away to PEC Zwolle last weekend whilst Feyenoord, being one of the big three teams in Holland, scraped a 3-2 win at home to FC Utrecht. On the above alone, this promises goals.


Paris St G vs Ajaccio – NO

Last year’s Ligue 1 winners had their defensive woes last season which looked to have cost them the title, until we closed in on the business end of the season. Losing to teams in and around relegation and scraping 3-2 wins due to a leaky defensive put them in a precarious position but they ended the season as title winners. This season has started a lot better, winning 1-0 away to strong outfit in Lille. Ajaccio on the other hand, drew 0-0 away to Troyes and with PSG keen for another clean sheet, Ajaccio may just draw another blank.
