Borussia Dortmund v Hannover 96 – Dortmund to win BTTS
The first match of our treble this weekend looks like an absolute banker as Dortmund host Hannover in the Bundesliga. The hosts currently sit in second place in the German top flight with a tidy ten point cushion over third-placed Hertha Berlin. Although they are unlikely to chase down the Bayern Munich juggernaut at the top of the table, the runners up spot looks all but secured from here on in. Form wise, Dortmund have dropped points in three of their last five away games, but remain imperious on their own patch having won eight and drawn one from an impressive nine matches. Opponents Hannover are down in the dumps at the bottom of the table and have lost their last six matches in a row. Needless to say, a trip to the Westfalenstadion is unlikely to bear much fruit as they look to end their current slump. Nevertheless, the corresponding fixture earlier in the season finished 4-2 in favour of Dortmund, and their 70% record for BTTS results certainly suggests Hannover should be able to nick a goal or two on Saturday afternoon.
Celtic v Ross County – Celtic to win BTTS
Our second choice for the BTTS win tip this weekend comes from bonnie Scotland as Celtic welcome Ross County to town. Ronny Deila's men continue to lead the way at the top of the table, but face a real battle on their hands for the league title this year following a stunning run of form from second-placed Aberdeen. The hosts do have a superb record at Celtic Park, though, and have already taken six points off their opponents home and away this season. In truth, Celtic should beat most of the sides they play in the division, but in my eyes, have been underperforming for some time now. Visitors Ross County are currently sat in in fourth place which is certainly not to be sniffed at considering the size of the club. Nevertheless, they have run into a sticky patch of late following three defeats in their last four matches. Based on past results and recent form, this should be an easy home win. However, considering Celtic's last three victories have finished 4-1, 8-1 and 3-1, I wouldn't bet against them conceding a sloppy goal to Ross County side that averages 1.6 goals a game this season.
PSG v Lille – PSG to win BTTS
With PSG facing off against Lille, the anchor leg of our weekend football tip certainly looks the easiest win on paper, but the hardest BTTS result to call. The hosts continue to power their way to the league crown following yet another win last weekend. PSG are currently undefeated this season and have won their last nine games in a row. Laurent Blanc's men now have a 24-point lead over Monaco in second place and could have the title sewn up in a few weeks. On top of this, talisman Zlatan Ibrahimovic is in the form of his life and has 29 goals already this season, as well as six in his last six. Granted they are the strongest side in the division by some way, but the ruthless manner in which they consistently churn out wins has to be applauded. Opponents Lille are the West Brom of Ligue 1 and continue to plod away down in 15th place, with only an outside chance of being involved in a relegation scrap at the end of the season. Lille don't score many goals at all, and on the face of it, don't look a good shout to find it onto the scoresheet this weekend. However, having browsed their recent fixtures more closely, there have been six BTTS results in their last eight games which does suggest they might be worth taking a punt on. In addition to this, three of PSG's last four victories have come via a BTTS outcome and they also conceded a goal in a 4-1 victory over bottom of the table Troyes recently. With this in mind, there is more than enough here to sway my vote towards a BTTS win for Zlatan and co.
