Match Result and BTTS Tips this Weekend
Fulham v Bristol City – Fulham to win BTTS
First up this Saturday is a trip to The Championship as Fulham take on Bristol City at Craven Cottage. I'll be the first to admit that this is certainly the toughest result to call on our treble as both these sides are only separated by goal difference in 19th and 20th place. The hosts are a funny old team, because on their day they play some terrific attacking football and arguably have two of the league's top five strikers in the form of Ross McCormack and Moussa Dembele. The pair have contributed to over half Fulham's 55 strikes this season, a record that is bettered only by Burnley in The Championship. The flip side to this is that The Cottagers also have the second worst defence and have conceded a whopping 60 goals already this campaign. It doesn't take a genius to see the where they need to improve on the pitch. Opponents Bristol City aren't faring any better, and like their hosts, find themselves in a relegation battle at present. Although they produced three wins in the bounce in February, form has dropped off again and they have now lost three of their last four. Again, this choice does come with a heightened element of risk. However, based on Fulham's excellent goalscoring record and the fact they have one of the highest BTTS ratios in the football league at 72%, back them to come out on top.

Gillingham v Crewe – Gillingham to win BTTS
Our second selection on the football tip this weekend is a League One affair as Gillingham welcome Crewe to town. The hosts' excellent start to the season has fallen a little flat in recent weeks but Justin Edinburgh's men are still in touching distance of the automatic promotion places. The Gills have lost three of their last four but have been hit by a number of key injuries and still remain the side with the best home record in the whole division. Opponents Crewe have a completely different kettle of fish to contend with as they look to avoid relegation. The Alex are currently second bottom of the table, five points from safety and really struggling to win games this season. Although they have drawn a large proportion of their matches, one win from their last fifteen is not going to cut the mustard if they are to avoid the drop to League Two. First and foremost, based on these side's recent results a BTTS outcome looks an absolute shoe-in. Out of their last six games apiece, only one match has not finished with a BTTS result. Combine this with the fact Gillingham have the league's best home record and Crewe haven't won away from home in seven attempts, and I think we have an excellent contender for our BTTS win treble this weekend.

Portsmouth v Newport County – Portsmouth to win BTTS
Our final choice for this weekend BTTS and win tip is the League Two clash between Portsmouth and Newport County. After taking ten points from a possible twelve, Pompey head into the match in decent form and are right in the mix for at least a playoff place at the close of the season. The pinnacle of this recent run was without a doubt their 3-1 victory away at Accrington in midweek, where they blew away the hosts with three goals in the first half. Judging by the fact Stanley were unbeaten in their previous eight at home, it certainly highlights the level of performance from Paul Cook's side. Their opposition this weekend is Newport, and whilst they are still struggling in the lower half of the table, they have managed to pick up a few wins since the turn of the year. Nevertheless, County are about to enter a wretched run of games against four of the top six sides in the league and could well find themselves in yet more trouble this time next month. Although the visitors' BTTS record isn't great, Pompey have seen BTTS results in six of their last nine games and have already recorded a highly impressive nine BTTS wins already this campaign. With these facts in mind, stick this one down as the anchor leg.
