Pep Guadiola's men might have had a complete stinker midweek away to Porto, but they remain runaway leaders in their domestic division. Bayern have a ten point cushion at the top of the table and have also won eight of their last nine matches. Their hosts Hoffenheim currently lie seventh with an outside chance of qualifying for the Europa League. However, they have only picked up one win in their last six games, losing the last two on the trot. Barring a complete catastrophe, this should an easy away win. However, can the home side get on the scoresheet? Judging by the fact Hoffenheim have the joint highest percentage for home matches that see BTTS, and that Bayern were a defensive shambles during the week, the hosts should certainly get their chances.

 

Watford v Birmingham – Watford 21/10

For our second addition to the coupon we make our way to the Championship and Watford's home tie against Birmingham. The hosts are in terrific form at the moment and have won their last three games in a row, leaving them tantalisingly close to automatic promotion. With one or both of their main rivals – Norwich and Middlesbrough – set to drop points on Friday night, Saturday is an absolute must win. Crystal Palace are one of the form teams in the league at the moment and have been an absolute revelation under new manager Alan Pardew. The Eagles have won five of their last six matches and all of these have been BTTS wins. They come up against a West Brom side, who over the last three matches, have turned into the division's whipping boys. It's safe to say Tony Pulis's honeymoon period is well and truly over. However, one glimmer of light for West Brom is the fact Crystal Palace haven't kept a clean sheet at home for a whopping twelve games. Although this is definitely the most risky of the fixtures on paper, and if there's ever going to be a party pooper it's got to be Pulis, I can see Palace keeping this run going a little longer.
