We begin in the FA Cup as Southampton host Yeovil. Southampton’s form is decent of late with three wins, two draws and a defeat in their last six games. At home, they have also won their last two, including 4-3 v Burnley in the last round of the cup. They take on a Yeovil side down in 23^rd of the Championship and with just two wins in eight. Southampton have now kept just one clean sheet in their last five matches and one in their last seven at home. Yeovil have found the net in their last four matches and in five of their last six away from home. Championship sides Barnsley and Burnley have already scored against Southampton this season and Yeovil could add themselves to that list, Saints should have too much quality though.

Leicester to beat Middlesbrough and Both Teams to Score 13/5:

Two of the Championship’s form sides meet on Saturday as Leicester look to extend their lead at the top. Leicester currently hold a five point gap on the chasing pack and have won six consecutive Championship matches. They are also unbeaten in five when playing at home. However, they have been conceding at home, with just two clean sheets in ten at the King Power Stadium. They take on a Boro side also in give form and unbeaten in six league matches. Historically though, they don’t travel though and their recent run of four unbeaten on the road was preceded by a run of eight matches without a win. Boro have found the net in six consecutive matches and in their last six on the road. This should be a great game and I expect Leicester to come out on top for our football tip.

Swindon to beat Shrewsbury and Both Teams to Score 5/2:

For the final leg of our football betting tip, to League One and Swindon v Shrewsbury. Swindon have won four of their last five at home, however, they have conceded in their last six games at home though. They take on a Shrewsbury side who have won just one of their last eight but have found the net in their last five on the road. Swindon will want to close the gap on the top 6 and should do it, Shrewsbury though will fancy themselves to score.
