Best 3 bets in the Premier League this week

Looking down this weekend’s fixtures, the three best bets of the weekend in the Premier League are all teams who have started the season in decent form.

Fulham, traditionally poor away from home, travel across London to take on West Ham at Upton Park. Martin Jol’s side have started their league campaign in impressive fashion, thumping Norwich at home and narrowly losing at Old Trafford in a game they should have taken something from. A surprise hiccup in the league cup this week to Sheffield Wednesday will have brought them to earth, but expect a response against the Hammers, who are yet to provide much evidence that they are at home back in the top flight. Fulham to win (15/8 with Bet365 – get £200 sign up bonus here) seems too enticing.

Everton are in sparkling and free-scoring form at present, and in Marouane Fellaini they now have an effective target man in the role occupied by Tim Cahill last season. They head to the Hawthornes in what should be one of the more entertaining fixtures of the weekend. The Baggies have themselves started impressively with a home win over Liverpool and a point at White Hart Lane, but expect Steve Clarke’s honeymoon to end with Everton’s arrival, with the Toffees a generously priced 38/25 with Youwin (get a free £25 bet here).

Lastly, Newcastle play their second match at home on Sunday against Aston Villa. The Toon have continued their impressive form at the end of last season into this campaign, and look certain to be challenging once more at the top end of the league. The same cannot be said of Aston Villa, one of British footballs largest names but currently over-reliant on youth and under new management, who have started uncertainly after languishing in the bottom half last year. Newcastle should easily overpower Paul Lamberts side on Sunday, and 4/6 with Sportingbet (risk free £50 bet here) represents decent value.

A £10 treble on these best bets would net you £96.92 with Sportingbet.

Other bets of interest this weekend include Ipswich, who are 6/5 to beat Huddersfield at home and who are enjoying a decent start in the Championship.

Also, if you like looking at alternative markets, Peterborough’s trip to Birmingham should be a banker for both teams to score. Peterborough were prolific in this market last year, playing with attacking intent which often leaves them defensively open and with Birmingham at home, expect both to find the net.
