Bayern Munich and Real Madrid go head to head in a giant International Champions Cup clash tonight and our football predictions show we’re expecting a thriller in New Jersey.
This International Champions Cup has thrown up some mouth-watering ties and none more so than the meeting of these two teams. So far they’ve played two matches a-piece in this pre-season tournament and all four of the matches have had one thing in common – goals.

Bayern Munich
Bayern started their pre-season with three wins, scoring eight goals. They then kicked off their International Champions Cup with a 3-3 draw against AC Milan – before losing on penalties. Their most recent fixture was a 4-1 win over Inter Milan with youngster Julian Green bagging an impressive hat-trick.
Real Madrid
Real Madrid have only played two friendlies so far this summer, both in this competition, losing 3-1 to PSG and beating Chelsea 3-2 most recently. Cristiano Ronaldo has been given an extended rest after the excursions of last season and then winning Euro 2016 with Portugal. The likes of Sergio Ramos, James Rodriguez, Gareth Bale and Isco were not involved against Chelsea so we could see a couple of their stars back in the Real Madrid starting line-up tonight.

As mentioned earlier, for my first Bayern Munich v Real Madrid betting tip I want to bet on goals. There are a few ways to go about this, but value in the odds is hard to come by. Both teams to score is best odds 6/10 (Coral) so that’s not great but over 3.5 goals looks a fair price at 7/4 with William Hill.
