Bayern Munich play Juventus tonight in the Champions League quarter final first leg at the Allianz Arena and it is the home side that are favourites to progress with the bookmakers.

Similarly to Bayern, Juventus are clear at the top of their division, Serie A in Italy, by 9 points. Juve have lost only 1 game in their last 10 keeping 6 clean sheets and scoring 18 goals in the process. They have won their last 4 games including a win over Inter Milan in the San Siro on Saturday. And Juventus have only conceded 2 goals in their last 5 games. So they are going into this match tonight bang in form.

Juventus are unbeaten in the Champions League this season, haven't conceded a goal in the competition since October 2012 and have scored 13 goals in their last 5 Champions League games.

I can see Bayern coming out the traps fast tonight, if Juventus can hold firm for the first 20 minutes or so I can see them growing stronger into the game and possibly snatching an away win. Although I am sure they will be happy to take a score draw. However if Bayern do score early in the first half I can see them going on to win the game. This game is very finely balanced between two teams which have been excellent thought this season, but tonight something will have to give.
