For my first Arsenal vs Southampton prediction on tonight’s EFL Cup fixture I am betting on both teams to score, last night’s matches were short of goals but this one might not be, especially given the amount of changes Arsenal will make. Both teams have scored in Arsenal’s last three home matches and in the League Cup they have only kept one clean sheet in their last eight home matches. Southampton have scored in eight of their last nine away in this competition.

Next up I am taking a look at the match result market and I think Southampton are the value here. Arsenal always rest most of their starting 11 for these matches so the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil are unlikely to play.
