In the previous round Arsenal comfortably defeated Nottingham Forest and this was with no Alexis Sanchez, Mezut Ozil or Theo Walcott in the squad and I do expect plenty of changes again here. Jaap Stam and Reading have had a very good start to the season and they find themselves only one point of the play-offs after their late winner against Rotherham on Saturday. The ex-Manchester United defender has got the Championship side playing attractive football and I don’t think he will change that on Tuesday which means we could be in for an entertaining game with lots of goals. The Royals beat Brighton away in the previous round and this was classed as a shock due to the league positions of the two clubs but if Reading can get a result here then this will be a much bigger shock.

Arsene Wenger will rotate his team as he normally does in this competition and this will probably mean that Sanchez, Ozil and Walcott get a well-deserved rest. Oliver Giroud is back from injury and will be in the squad but Lucas Perez will get the nod up front and will look to add to his two goals that he got in the previous round.
