The Sky Blues earned their trip to The Emirates courtesy of a 2-1 victory away at Barnsley whilst the Gunners saw off bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the pick of the third round FA Cup ties. Arsenal are undoubtedly favourites for the match and we simply cannot ignore them when looking for our football predictions, and rightly so. They have been incredibly impressive this season, and Wenger has a squad and crucially the depth in personnel to suggest that this could be the year they can finally start dusting the Emirates trophy cabinet and preparing it for some silverware.

Indeed, Wenger has seemed to take cup competitions a lot more seriously this season than he has in past. First team regulars have featured in Arsenal cup sides this term far more than fans are used to, and I would assume that trend will continue which is important for our football tips, as they must view a domestic cup as their most realistic opportunity to end their trophy-less spell.

Arsenal come into the game in fine form, having not lost since their visit to the Etihad just before Christmas, and they must look at this as a favourable draw, especially after having played Spurs to have reached this stage. Coventry themselves are on a decent run of form, their loss also coming before the 25th December. However, Arsenal look as though they mean business this year and should make the hat for the fifth round draw without any real problems.

Arsenal do look an incredibly professional outfit this season, and in recent years they could have been vulnerable to a cup upset, but they seem to be playing with even more confidence and swagger than usual.
