This six-fold accumulator tip for Saturday pays odds of 11/2 and it consists of six home sides to do the business.  Selections are in bold.

Liverpool vs Norwich

Norwich have been on a poor run of form lately, losing four in a row before last week’s 0-0 draw with Newcastle.  Luis Suarez has hit consecutive hat-tricks against the Canaries, and with Daniel Sturridge added to their attacking options, Brendan Roger’s men will have too much for the visitors.

Manchester City vs Fulham

The champions are beginning to find their stride, winning five of their last six league games. James Milner’s inclusion has given the side a real balance, and Javi Garcia has added some much needed steel to the midfield in the absence of Yaya Toure.  Fulham have conceded twenty-three goals in their last eleven league games away from Craven Cottage and that tally is due to increase even more on Saturday.

Lorient vs Troyes

In France’s Ligue 1, Lorient have won five of their last eight games, keeping five clean sheets in the process.  Their opponents Troyes have the worst away record in the league, collecting a mere two points from nine games, and are eighteen points behind the home side in the table.

Twente vs RKC

Twente sit second in the league table, having won seven from eight league games at home.  They also boast the best defensive record in the league, which does not bode well for their opponents who have only won once on the road this season, and who sit eighteen points adrift in the table.

Celtic vs Hearts

Celtic return from the winter break recuperated from a hectic end to 2012, and are aiming to re-focus on their league form, which by Neil Lennon’s own admission has not been up to standard in the first half of the season.  With their champions league tie against Juventus almost a month away, Lennon will want his team to approach that game in top form with a string of victories behind them.  Hearts have only won once on their travels, and languish in ninth position the SPL.  They have only managed seven goals away from Tynecastle, and will struggle to break down the home side who have only conceded six goals at Celtic Park this season.

Swindon vs Shrewsbury

Paulo Di Canio’s side have had an excellent Christmas period and New Year.  They have won four of their last five, scoring an impressive seventeen goals, while conceding an even more impressive solitary goal.  Shrewsbury have only once away from home this season, and only managed a 1-1 draw with bottom of the table Hartlepool in their last game.
