We begin with a seaside clash as teams with very different ambitions meet. Results went Brighton’s way on Good Friday and despite just drawing they moved in to a Play-Off position. This extended their unbeaten run to five matches but with three games to go, just a single point separates them from Ipswich and Reading. Blackpool hit crisis point over the weekend as they lost to Burnley and fell in to the relegation zone for the first time this season. They are without a win in their last six and have lost five of them. They haven’t won on the road since November, losing eleven and drawing three in that time. These two teams are at opposite ends of table for a reason so expect a home win.

Derby to Beat Barnsley 3/5:

With three games to go, Derby are eight points adrift of Burnley in the chase for automatic promotion so only a win is enough to keep them in the race. They have been in top form of late winning their last three and have also won three on the spin at home. Barnsley are fighting for their Championship lives and are currently three points from safety. They have won just one of their last five now and will struggle against a top Derby side who have been  a real force under Steve McClaren.

Peterborough to Beat Carlisle 8/11:

To the League One Play-Off race now and Peterborough who have a four point gap over the teams outside the Play-Offs. Posh have been inconsistent all season and they lost last time out away to Bradford but had won their two before then. They’ve won three on the spin at London Road without conceding a goal and will want a fourth to all but secure a Play-Off place. Carlisle find themselves in the relegation zone and are in big trouble,  winning just one of their previous eleven matches. They are without a win in five on the road, with four defeats and poor away form like that should make life easy for Posh.

Preston to Beat Shrewsbury 13/20:

A side with their League One Play-Off spot all sorted are Preston North End. The Lancashire side have lost just three games in 2014 and are unbeaten at home in that spell. They have won three in a row at Deepdale and will be confident of success in the Play-Offs. Shrewsbury have had a poor year and sit second bottom, picking up just one win in their last five. They are without a win in six away from home, scoring just a single goal in that time. Preston should have no issue disposing of Shrewsbury on Monday.

Scunthorpe to beat Oxford 19/20:

Finally, to League 2 and Scunthorpe who are going strong at the top, with points separating them from falling out of the automatic promotion places. They are unbeaten since the 16^th November but do draw far too many matches. Despite being unbeaten in thirteen matches at home, they have won just five of them and will be desperate for three points. Oxford are the perfect opposition as they are in dreadful form, winning just two of twelve and losing five of their last seven. They have lost four in five away and Scunthorpe will be desperate to beat the struggling side.
