Manchester United to beat Shakhtar Donetsk 11/10:

We begin in Group A with Manchester United who have already qualified and need a massive swing to not finish top but who should be finishing the group on high. As they have struggled domestically, United have impressed in the Champions League and are unbeaten in their group. They have won both home group matches and will want to get back to winning ways after two disappointing defeats in the league. Shakhtar lost their last away game in the group 4-0 to Leverkusen and can be overtaken by the Germans if they don’t win here. They have never won on English soil in the Champions League and with Manchester United’s home European form so good, I expect a home win.

Benfica to beat PSG 21/20:

Benfica come in to this knowing only a win will be good enough to send them through and that may still not be enough. They are level on points with Olympiakos but with a worse goal difference. Benfica are unbeaten in their last nine at home now and in their last four at home in the Champions League. They take on a PSG side who already know they will be finishing top of the group and will probably look to rest players.  With Benfica desperate for a win to go through and PSG with nothing to play for, this should be a solid home win.

Bayern Munich to beat Man City 4/9:

Finally to the battle for top spot in Group D. With both sides already through, Bayern look to have top spot secured but a big City win can change that. Munich are in frightening form of late and haven’t lost a competitive game all season. They won 7-0 at the weekend and will want to keep the momentum going. They have won every home game this season and take on a City side inconsistent on the road. Munich should have too much quality for City and should take all three points on Tuesday.
