Barcelona to beat Ajax 11/20:

Starting in the Amsterdam Arena as Ajax host Barcelona. Barca have been their usual selves this season and are yet to lost a match in all competitions, now winning their last six. They have won seven of their nine away games and have been in stunning form. Ajax sit 3^rd in Holland but clearly aren’t as strong as their opponents. Barca smashed them 4-0 in the Nou Camp and have won just one of their last seven Champions League matches. Barca should do the business here and take three points off their Dutch opponents.

Chelsea to beat Basel 17/20:

Our next selection also comes from the Champions League as Chelsea travel to Switzerland. Despite what some people saw as a recent blip, Jose’s men have lost just one of their last thirteen matches and have won four of their last five away from home. They take on a Basel side much weaker than them who have already lost to Schalke at home in the group and taking on a Chelsea side much stronger than them should fall to another defeat.

Schalke to beat Steaua Bucharest Evens:

Staying in Chelsea’s group and a Schalke side who need a win to see them safely in to the next round. They have lost just two of their last ten in all competitions and have lost just one of their last nine on the road. Bucharest are top of their domestic league but struggle in the Champions League without a win in their last seven matches in the competition. Schalke beat them 3-0 at home and a professional job should move them a step closer to the knockout phase.

Brentford to beat Peterborough 23/20:

At the start of the season betting against Peterborough was a rare event but a recent slump makes this look like great value. Posh have now lost their last four matches and are without a win in their last five and have lost their last two on the road. They take on a Brentford side unbeaten in their last six and with five wins in that time. At home they have won three in a row and are quickly making up ground on their opponents. 3^rd v 4^th should make this a great match but with one in form and one not, there is only one winner for me.

Leyton Orient to beat Bristol City 5/4:

Finally Leyton Orient who have lost just twice this season. They have won five of their last seven and have already opened up a big gap in the automatic promotion spots. They have been particularly impressive on the road with seven wins in nine away games. They take on a Bristol City side down in 22^nd in the table and have just two wins all season long. They have just one win in nine at home and take on a really strong Orient team who will want to carry on their good season
