After a blockbuster first weekend in the Premier League, there is another full program this time out with more great looking fixtures for an accumulator tip.
In addition to this, the Football League is really beginning to take shape and there is plenty to be enjoyed there as well.
This five-fold gives great odds of just over 13/1 with William Hill, if one selection lets you down when betting on an accumulator at William Hill you will get your losing bet refunded under their 'acca insurance' promotion.
Everton to beat West Brom 4/7:
First up is Roberto Martinez’s Everton. The Toffees started their season with a solid point away to Norwich. They looked to have played well and back on home turf should pick up a win. West Brom struggled on the opening day falling to a 1-0 defeat to Southampton. The likes of Barkley performed well for Everton and the fact they lost just once at home in the whole of last season shouldn’t be sniffed at. I fully expect Everton to get their season going with the first win of the Martinez era.
Southampton to beat Sunderland 8/11:
Southampton haven’t rested on their laurels after an impressive return to the top flight last season. The Saints have invested heavily in the likes of Osvaldo and Wanyama and opened their season with an impressive 1-0 win away to West Brom. Sunderland struggled on the opening day falling to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Fulham. Despite the huge incomings to The Stadium of Light they seemed to lack ideas last weekend. Only West Ham lost more times on the road than Sunderland last year of the teams that weren’t relegated and Southampton should have far too much quality for them.
Leyton Orient to beat Crewe 8/11:
Next up is the League’s form team Leyton Orient. Orient have made a flying start to their season winning all three League One matches and overcoming Coventry in the cup. The performances have been hugely impressive recording 5-1 and 3-0 victories along the way. Crewe picked up their first win of the season last weekend but had struggled till then, being knocked out the Cup by Bury and picking up just one point before they beat Tranmere. However, away from home they have lost both their matches this season and with Orient on such a high I can only see another defeat.
Swindon to beat Gillingham 4/5:
Swindon have made a mixed start to the season but could kick start it with a win against Gillingham. The Robins have two wins and two defeats so far this year but the two wins have come in their two home fixtures. Gillingham have struggled since promotion, picking up just one point from their three league fixtures, being knocked out the Capital One Cup and managing just one goal in the process. Swindon may have been in mixed form but at home they look strong and should have way to much for struggling Gillingham.
Oxford United to beat Wycombe 4/6:
Finally we venture to League 2 for the final team for this week’s accumulator. Oxford United sit top of League 2 after three games and seem a good shout to carry on their strong start. Oxford have a 100% league record so far picking up wins against Portsmouth, Bury and Torquay. Wycombe picked up their only win of the season so far on the opening day dispatching of Morecambe. Since then they’ve been knocked out the Capital One Cup and lost their two league matches, failing to score a league goal. Oxford have had a bright start to the season and with Wycombe losing their last two they look good to carry on the run.
