Norwich Vs Swansea
Why does the draw seem so appealing for this match? Could it be that Swansea have not seen one in the last six, or Norwich have experienced three in the last six, two of which at home.
Swansea are priced at a 33.3% chance of winning the game, with Norwich not convincingly much more, and they are at home! Obviously the draw is psychologically the most difficult outcome to predict as people do not like sitting on the fence. Norwich have just one win in six, with Swansea losing the last three.
Swansea know they are safe, which in two minds make them dangerous. Any game they see fit to go for points, they will, and this will be a game, where the gaffer will want at least a point to add to their tally. We would go for the draw, but we anticipate both teams will score in a non eventful match, as Swansea should exercise themselves in practising their goalscoring and simply, Norwich have to score.
Best Bet
Both teams to score – 4/5 with Betway
Stoke Vs Aston Villa
A few games ago you might have said, Stoke to be relegated this season? No chance! Well, just 4 points above the drop, it is a distinct possibility and have only won once in the last six. Luckily, they play a deliberate style at home, so perhaps one more win will ease worries?
Seeing as this is a relative local derby (within reason) Villa are coming off the back of a narrow 2-1 defeat to Liverpool. Before this they enjoyed two wins on the bounce, and could strike Stoke to take all the points. Stoke may have caught themselves in some limbo, but Villa know what they have to do, and are able to beat a recently complacent Stoke side.
A Villa win will probably get them out of the relegation zone by the end of the weekend, and what a relief that will be. Stoke have lost just twice at home, but alarmingly have pocketed more draws than wins at home, netting a mere 18 goals in 15 home matches, but only conceding 15.
Villa’s last three have seen their games go over 2.5, but this is Stoke at home! Bookmakers have a varied opinion on under 2.5 goals ranging from 4/7 to 8/11. The half time draw does appeal at 11/10 with BetVictor, as Stoke are strong at home and can play out a boring first forty-five!
Best Bet
Half time draw – 11/10 with Betway
West Brom Vs Arsenal
We will give West Brom a massive credit for being in their highest position in the Premier League at this stage of the season, and why not finish in the top half this season?
Should a home team of West Brom’s calibre ever be this price against an inconsistent Arsenal? Answer is certainly not. However, Arsenal have display some inconsistency for a while now, and its mainly down to Wenger having little or nothing to spend in the transfer window. He has a difficult job, and we all know it!
Arsenal are chasing fourth spot, two points off Chelsea, and their main contenders battling behind them are Everton and Liverpool, with Everton a mere two points behind and still in there for battling fourth. Arsenal simply cannot afford to lose anymore this season, with their away record boasting six wins, five draws and four losses. Arsenal have big showdowns with Everton and Man United to come, so banking the points now, may ease the pressure moving forward.
Best Bet
Arsenal to win – 1/1 with Betway
