The Foxes are currently on a seven match unbeaten run since December and three points will be essential to remain in the automatic promotion places. Their home form is ominous too – they have the second best league form for the last six games in the division, scoring over three goals a game on average. The team’s potency in front of goal at the King Power Stadium has been impressive all season and they have scored the most goals of any side at home this season, scoring almost 2.5 goals a game on average. Chris Wood scored again last weekend and he now had seven goals in five games.
Wolves have mirrored Leicester’s recent run – just in the complete opposite fashion as they haven’t won for seven games, going back for over a month. The team are moving perilously close to the relegation zone but new manager Dean Saunders has yet to gain a three points for his new club. Even more alarmingly, they have only managed three goals in the past seven games and desperately need some firepower upfront. Whilst their away form has been mediocre throughout the season – they have the 14th best record in the division – defensively only five sides have conceded less goals than them away from home.
