City's home form as everyone with even a passing interest in English football knows, is immense. They are currently closing in on their bitter rivals Manchester United's second and third longest ever Premier League runs without defeat at home (5 more undefeated takes them clear of United's 36 in 1999/2000 & 35 in 1995/1996 – they are a long way off Chelsea's Mourinho inspired 86 game run from 2004-2008 however).

Recent form also sees them unbeaten, with wins against Fulham, Sunderland, and West Brom, and draws at Anfield and at home to Arsenal, the only blot on the copy book an away draw at Stoke. 

Swansea, inspired by their new manager and some decent signings, started the season like a train but since then they have struggled with two draws and three defeats in the five matches before their last game when they narrowly beat Wigan at the Liberty. They have struggled with injuries and bans as well as rumours of some unrest with the new regime.

So, how will this one play out? Well, Mancini is shorn of Maicon, Rodwell, Garcia, and Milner through injuries and a ban so he might be forced to be a little more open and attacking from the off. With a half fit David Silva, we might even see the tank that is Yaya Toure unleashed higher up the pitch from the off, with only boring boring Gareth Barry sending us to sleep in midfield.

Swansea have important players of their own in contention in De Guzman, Rangel, Dyer and Chico all back after bans and injuries, and arguably their best player Michu would love to make a splash at Camp Blue.
