After failing to win any of their Premier League matches during the opening three months of the campaign, Sunderland began November by winning 1-0 at Bournemouth and then comfortably beating fellow strugglers Hull 3-0 at the Stadium of Light. The Black Cats were not disgraced last weekend when beaten 2-0 at Liverpool and should have opened the scoring, but the Sunderland players now appear to be more settled under the guidance of David Moyes. Leicester won 2-0 on Wearside last season but are winless in four Premier League matches despite their success in the Champions League. Paddy McNair (knee ligaments) is expected to miss the rest of the campaign at Sunderland with Lee Cattermole (hip) unavailable until early next year. Fabio Borini (groin) may return later this month while Jack Rodwell (thigh) and Lynden Gooch (ankle) are also expected absentees. Jan Kirchhoff could return after recovering from a hamstring injury and Papiss Djilobodji has completed a one-match suspension.
