Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has gone to a back three in recent weeks to try and stop his team conceding goals and it has worked with two consecutive clean sheets against Hull and Leicester. Mourinho’s men come into this match on the back of two decent results. Although the 0-0 draw against Liverpool was boring this was a good result considering how good Liverpool were playing and it showed a bit of steel which Mourinho will be happy with. They also won 4-1 in the Europa League on Thursday and this will give the players a confidence boost, especially Paul Pogba who scored a brace and the United fans will be hoping that will be the start of consistently good performances considering the world record price tag he has. It’ll be interesting to see if the reds employ the same tactics that they did at Anfield considering that they are five points of the lead already or if they will fancy their chances against a Chelsea defence that is as weak as it has been in years.

I think both managers are still trying to find their best starting eleven and will both be happy not to lose this game and we all know that if Jose wants his side to be tough to break down then they will be.
