Liverpool haven’t managed to play a home game yet due to the renovations going on at Anfield and have picked up a respectful but not brilliant four points in their three away games so far. Their last performance at White Hart Lane against Tottenham was probably deserving of more than just one point but a mixture of poor finishing from the Liverpool forwards and magnificent keeping from Michel Vorm kept the score at 1-1 and Jurgen Klopp had to settle for a point. It will be interesting to see if the Liverpool manager continues to play Roberto Firmino as a striker or if he turns to Daniel Sturridge in search of the goals that they lacked against Tottenham and Burnley. I sometimes feel that although Firmino, Mane and Coutinho are all wonderful players, none of them are clinical finishers like Sturridge is and that’s what Liverpool are missing at the moment in my opinion. Adam Lallana was England’s hero last Sunday and was easily the best player on the pitch that night and he will be hoping to continue his impressive form against the Foxes. He has started all four matches that Liverpool have played this season in all competitions and he could be one to watch on Saturday.

Reigning Premier League Champions Leicester have had a tough start to the season with four points from their opening three games and it could get tougher for them as they start to face at least two matches every week with the Champions League group stage starting in midweek.  It was vital that they got their season up and running with victory over Swansea before the international break and they showed glimpses of their amazing form last season with Drinkwater and Vardy combining for an excellent goal in the first half of that game. I do feel that the loss of N’golo Kante is going to affect them massively this season and it certainly will in this game. Liverpool will have a lot of the ball and pass it around the midfield areas and Kante was brilliant at stopping teams doing this but as he is now playing for Chelsea, I feel that the midfield area is where Liverpool could exploit a weakness and have a lot of joy on Saturday.
