Wales are still smiling proudly as a nation following their Euro 2016 campaign and with good reason to, everyone wrote them off before a ball was even kicked but did they surprise us. Now it’s time to look forward for the national team and a good run in the World Cup will be exactly what they want as they hope to continue their countries good run of late.
There isn’t too much information about on Moldova but a World Cup run isn’t something I can see them producing. They have big teams to come up against and with only one win in their last four, against Andorra they will not be as confident as the others around them. They do have passion and pride on their side so they will definitely wear their heart on their sleeves but how good it will do is beyond me.

Wales are obvious favourites in the Wales v Moldova betting odds of 3/10 to take the win, it would take an idiot to back Moldova at 16/1. It mays seem like a nice return off a £10 stake but you might as well just put it in the bin. Wales have quality all over the pitch and their individual talents should see them win comfortably here. This is a good chance for Wales to test out some of their players who didn’t get much of a chance to impress at Euro 2016, or even allow some of the fringe players a chance to prove their worth and book a place in the squad when it is finally announced. Robson-Kanu was deadly at Euro 2016 in which he has now got himself a contract at West Brom in the Premier League. Whether he will start or will Sam Vokes get the chance to lead the line in the Wales line-up.
