This weekend’s football accumulator tip is one of the biggest odds accas we have put together, can we repeat last Saturday’s feat and get a winner?
There are no Premier League or Championship matches this weekend due to the international break so this week's Saturday accumulator tip focusses on two games each from Leagues One and Two plus another match selected from the National League. This same tipster put up a 40/1 winning accumulator last weekend so it’s well worth getting on this one, even if the odds are ginormous!
Saturday’s Football Accumulator Bet
Bury to beat Port Vale
The half-time words of manager David Flitcroft appeared to inspire his Bury players last weekend as they claimed a 3-3 at Walsall after they were three goals adrift at the interval. The Shakers had beaten Charlton 2-0 in their opening league match of the game but have been winless in league action since that match. Bury could now return to winning ways against a Port Vale team which has won all three home games but yet to score an away goal in League One having lost 1-0 at Swindon in their previous game on the road.
Fleetwood to draw with Coventry
Uwe Rosler was appointed manager of Fleetwood during late July and they have suffered just one league defeat this season when beaten 2-1 by League One leaders Bolton. The Cod Army also won 2-0 at Southend last weekend but the Shrimpers have not won a league game at Roots Hall since late March. Fleetwood will host a Coventry team which has lost both away matches to date but they were 1-0 ahead at Bradford until Jordan Turnbull was dismissed on 66 minutes and eventually lost 3-1. No more than one goal has been scored by Coventry in any league game this season, but full-back Jamie Sterry is a decent loan signing from Newcastle and the Sky Blues could earn a low-scoring draw.
Hartlepool to beat Stevenage
Hartlepool have won just one league game this term but are unbeaten on away soil. They eventually claimed a draw against Newport on home turf last weekend when opening the scoring after just two minutes, only for Aristotle Nsiala to be dismissed shortly afterwards. 'Pool then conceded twice before equalising prior to the interval to secure an unlikely point, and they now visit a Stevenage team which lost 5-2 at previously winless Grimsby on Saturday. Their only victory this term was claimed via a 2-1 win against local rivals Luton with the winner arriving deep into second half added time. A win for Hartlepool is forecasted.
Yeovil to draw with Blackpool
Yeovil won 2-0 against Notts County on the opening day of the season but have claimed just one point thereafter and have lost three successive matches including a 4-1 defeat at Doncaster last weekend when losing Bevis Mugabi (dismissed) with the Glovers trailing 2-1. As per their hosts, Blackpool beat Exeter 2-0 in their first game of the campaign but they are winless in league action since that contest and have failed to find the net in their two latest games. Two out-of-form teams could share the points.
Aldershot to beat Tranmere
Aldershot have won all three National League games to date at the Recreation Ground without conceding a goal as manager Gary Waddock hopes to repeat his title winning season of 2008 after returning to the club in May. His team now hosts unbeaten league leaders Tranmere, but they could only beat pointless Guiseley 1-0 on Monday and earned just a point when drawing 1-1 at second bottom Southport at the weekend. The Shots could claim a surprise victory and complete our huge odds accumulator tip this weekend.
