It has been an interesting summer for Everton, Roberto Martinez was sacked and Ronald Koeman took charge, the last week has seen John Stones leave and the transfers in are starting to take shape. Spurs have had a quieter summer and will be expected to build on a fantastic 2015/16 campaign.

It has been a real mixed bag of pre-season results for Everton, last weekend they were beaten 1-0 in a terrible friendly against Espanyol which seen new boy Gueye give away a penalty with his first tackle and Ross Barkley miss one at the other end. Prior to that they had played well in beating Barnsley and MK Dons before a draw and defeat in Germany and a 0-0 draw at Old Trafford for Wayne Rooney’s testimonial.

Spurs’ England players had a shocking summer at Euro 2016 with England but miraculously found their form with a 6-1 win over Inter Milan. England’s corner and free kick maestro Harry Kane scored twice, and didn’t take any set pieces. They’ve only played three pre-season friendlies which may be a concern from a fitness point of view but they’re normally one of the hardest working Premier League teams around. After a quick preview we can now look at some Premier League predictions for this fixture.

As mentioned, this could be a really entertaining match at Goodison Park this weekend, the Everton v Tottenham match odds have the home side as outsiders at 21/10 (Bet Victor), the draw is 12/5 with Boylesports and Tottenham’s odds to beat Everton this weekend are 6/4 with Ladbrokes.
