Euro 2016 Accumulator Tips:
Albania to finish bottom of Group A
Group A contains hosts France, Switzerland, Albania and Romania and our Euro 2016 tipster is betting on Albania to end in fourth place. They had a good qualifying campaign but will be up against some good attacking forces in this group. The match with Romania could be a shootout for who finishes bottom and the lack of real attacking threat from Albania could be their downfall given Romania’s strong defensive record.
Slovakia to finish bottom of Group B
Euro 2016 Group B holds England, Russia, Slovakia and Wales and our next Euro 2016 tip is for Slovakia to finish bottom of the group. England look a class above this opposition but Russia have a solid team and Wales have Gareth Bale, the Wales vs Slovakia match in the opening round of fixtures could go a long way to deciding Slovakia’s fate. Slovakia finished Euro 2016 qualifying behind Spain which was impressive but a major tournament might be a step too far for them.
Ukraine to finish 3rd in Group C
Germany will surely win Euro 2016 Group C and Northern Ireland are expected to finish bottom so we’re left with Poland and Ukraine to decide the second guaranteed qualification spot. Poland have a slightly better staring 11 compared to Ukraine and Robert Lewandowski will be the difference. Ukraine don’t have a recognised prolific striker so our next Euro 2016 accumulator tip is for Ukraine to finish third in group C at 7/4.
Spain to win Group D
Spain had a World Cup to forget but will want to defend their European title in France this summer. They should win Group D with a favourable draw. Turkey, Croatia and Czech Republic are opposition that shouldn’t cause too many problems. Spain have good depth in their squad and will want to get off to a flying start by winning their group, the odds are 4/6 which is great value to go in our Euro 2016 groups accumulator tip.
Sweden to finish 3rd in Group E
Belgium and Italy are rightly the favourites to qualify from Group E so Sweden and Republic of Ireland will compete to avoid finishing bottom. Unfortunately for the Irish we think it will be them propping up the group. They were outclassed at Euro 2012 in a tough group and the same could happen again at Euro 2016. Sweden have Zlatan Ibrahimovic to score their goals so they get the nod to finish third for our Euro 2016 accumulator.
Iceland to finish 2nd in Group F
Portugal are favourites to win Group F at Euro 2016 but for our accumulator tip we’re looking for a team to finish second and Iceland get the nod ahead of Austria and Hungary. They only conceded six goals in Euro 2016 qualifying and will even give Portugal problems despite Ronaldo being in the opposition. It should be a shootout between Iceland and Austria for the second qualification spot and Iceland’s tight defence may be enough to see them through to the last 16.
