Watford were brilliant in the Premier League up until the end of December but they’ve only won two matches since then, against relegation threatened Newcastle and a Crystal Palace team in even worse form than Watford. They are in the semi-finals of the FA Cup thanks to a marvellous result against….Arsenal, at the Emirates. It’s hard to see anything but an Arsenal win for my Premier League predictions on this match however as Watford have all eyes on the FA Cup now, but where is the value for our bets?

My first Arsenal vs Watford prediction is going to be for Arsenal to win and both teams to score. Arsenal have not kept a home clean sheet in seven of the last nine home matches including conceding two in each of their last three games. Next up I’m going to go for an anytime goalscorer tip and I’m looking for some value by picking a Watford player. The selection is Troy Deeney who has recently taken over from Ighalo as Watford’s main goal threat. He scored twice against Palace recently and in the defeat to Stoke.
